Recorded on November 2 and 3, 1991 at Polish Radio, Studio S4, Warsaw, Poland. Mixed at Remaximum Studio, London, UK, except tracks A6 and B2, which were mixed at On-U-Sound Studio, London, UK. Music and words based on adopted phrases and strophes from traditional songs. The songs tell the story of Janosik, a rebel who hides in the mountains, but comes to the village to meet his lover and gets betrayed. Most tracks are both in English and Polish. The album [m220934] contains dub versions of the tracks from this album.
